Films and Career

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and made her feature film debut in the James Bond film “A View to a Kill” with Roger Moore and Christopher Walken.

Still only 18 when she was offered the role, Alison was – and remains – the youngest Bond girl to date.

She has also been fortunate to have worked opposite three James Bond leading men, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore.

Other roles include Siobhan Donavan in “A Prayer for the Dying” playing opposite Liam Neeson, Mickey Rourke and Bob Hoskins and Charlotte in “Taffin” playing opposite Pierce Brosnan.

She was listed as one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 in John Willis’ Screen World, Vol. 38.

She then went on to play Elsa Schneider in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” as the leading lady opposite Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Alison was presented with an award alongside Mick Jagger, Phil Collins and Sir Roger Moore for their work with the Prince’s Trust which is a youth charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training.

She was also chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokeswoman for L’Oréal in the USA.

Alison has worked with the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, which was founded by actor Paul Newman. It is a nonprofit residential summer camp, and year-round center serving children and their families coping with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions.

After almost a decade away from the screen, due to spending time with her family, Alison returned to acting in a number of roles.

She played alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 television movie adaptation of “King Solomon’s Mines”.

Alison has also worked alongside many actors including Charlie Sheen, John Hurt, Jonathan Pryce and Michael Caine.

On the 21st of November 2018 she was awarded the ‘Almeria Land of Cinema’ and unveiled a star in her name at Almeria Walk of Fame in Almeria, southern Spain. On 20 November 2019 she was announced to be entering into the Indian film industry with the film “RRR” playing one of the lead antagonists Lady Scott alongside Ray Stevenson. The movie is the most awaited movie coming out of India, and will release worldwide.

It stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Ajay Devgan.
